Attractions in the English Lake District Start your walk in the Lake District with a cruise down our beautiful lake so you can just sit back and enjoy the scenery. A one way journey down the length of the Lake takes about an hour.
Rheged is Europe's largest grass covered building, with a giant cinema screen bigger than six double decker buses. Here there are various specialist shops, art galleries, restaurant, cafes, children's play area and regular special events.
